You will be provided with training from an established Biography Service and support from the NAPS Leadership team and the Volunteer Association. Sessions run for an hour at a time with up to a maximum of 6 sessions. The sessions are voice recorded and and then transcribed by the biographer before the next session. Depending on the patient, the session can take place in the clients home or in the hospital. You will be provided with a recording device, a USB memory stick and a space at the Hospital for you to work if you choose to edit onsite.
