The Boroondara Volunteer Resource Centre is advertising this role on behalf of MannaCare.
Do you have the ability to sew by hand and would like to make a difference to the well-being of an older person? You will need to be available on Tuesdays10:30 AM - 12:15 PM.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with early dementia to do some simple craft projects.
- (It is more about the process of making, not the end result!)
- All you need is 2 hours a week, on a Monday or Thursday afternoon, a positive attitude, patience, a love of art or craft and we teach you the rest!
Skills and Experience:
- Art or craft
- Patience
- Affinity with older people
