Join us in empowering young adults with disability and autism to live independently. As a STEPS Pathways College Classroom Support Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in our unique live-and-learn education model — the first of its kind in Australia. Volunteers support students across a range of learning environments, helping them build confidence, life skills, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assist the trainer in classroom environments with activities, small group work, and tutoring *Encourage students to apply their toolbox strategies to regulate emotions *Promote social skill development through conversation and interaction *Support students in applying learning to everyday life *Join students and trainers on community outings *Help with light administrative tasks like printing and restocking supplies
