Homework Club Volunteer - Bathurst NSW

Our Homework Support Program provides a safe and supportive learning environment where students can practice areas of learning that has been identified as needing further development.

As a Homework Club Volunteer, some of your key responsibilities would include:

• Support school students in areas in need of improvement.

• Commitment of 1-2 hours per week

• Assist and encourage students in the learning process.

• Assessing students’ strengths and learning gaps, developing ways to help them improve in areas of skill gaps.

• Formal teaching skills are not required, however this opportunity will require patience, good listening skills and willingness to support youth.

• Liaise with the Coordinator on student attendance, support needs, goals, satisfaction, and outcomes.

• Record outcomes that meet child/youth focused group activity program requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:
