Permaculture Northern Beaches

Permaculture Northern Beaches (PNB) is an active local group on Sydney's Northern Beaches working for ecological integrity and assisting you on a pathway to sustainability.

PNB holds monthly permaculture information nights on the last Thursday of each month and offers a range of workshops, short courses, film and soup nights, practical garden tours, beehive installations, Eco-Product making sessions and much more.

This role needs to be based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney or in the Northern Suburbs nearby.

We are an independent organisation registered as an Association in NSW.

Comment on key proposals from the NB Council and draw this to the attention of the group as appropriate. Assist to build up the Community Comment (advocacy) email group and maintain an overview of the relevant activities open for comment that is given to the group.

Liaises with Councillors and relevant appointed reference groups from the Northern Beaches Council to facilitate communications on key issues. Build relations with relevant staff from NB Council on issues of policy and advocacy.

Liaise with key contact people from the local Community Gardens, environment centres or similar in the NB local government area to ensure that opportunities to promote permaculture and mutually beneficial projects are pursued.
