Youth Program Adult Leader

The St John Tasmania Youth Program is designed for young people aged 11 to 17, providing opportunities to learn first aid, build important life skills and develop confidence and leadership.
Youth members take part in regular activities, camps and competitions, while accessing personal development and leadership opportunities. The program encourages young people to explore their potential, contribute to their communities and build skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.
The opportunity
As a member of the State Youth Engagement team, you'll have the opportunity to help shape the future of our Youth Program and ensure it continues to meet the needs and interests of young Tasmanians.
You'll help create meaningful development opportunities for Youth members and support them to build the skills, confidence and leadership capabilities to make a positive difference in their communities.
Essential qualifications
- Child Protection (CHCPRT001), or willingness to obtain
- Current Provide First Aid certificate or higher, or willingness to obtain
Desirable qualifications
- Qualifications or experience in youth development, volunteer management or business management
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
