MS Plus - Community Visitor Bentleigh
Advertised by Volunteers of Glen Eira #MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS).
Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game.
Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship.
You need to be caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly connections/visits or at least fortnightly connections/visits for a minimum of 12 months/ongoing.
Volunteer Visitors are empathetic and curious, they find ways to connect and show a genuine appreciation for the happiness of others. They play a vital role in the life of a person living in their own home or aged care through ongoing friendship.
Visits may take place on any day of the week/fortnight as mutually arranged.
This role would suit retirees.
