The Pool consists of consumer interested in helping drive positive change for the Armadale and Kalamunda Hospitals by ensuring the consumer voice is heard.

Consumer representatives have a range of opportunities to provide input into ensuring health services meet consumer needs. Consumers can assist with evaluating policy, provide feedback into projects and research, review promotional and educational materials and attend meeting s to ensure consumer input is provided. Please note this position is advertised through Armadale Volunteer Services.

Training

Consumers receive induction training to Armadale Kalamunda Group and Department of Health.

Time required

Any day - level of involvement is up to the consumer and can be based on their interst in a topic.

Reimbursement

Reimbursement of Security Screening Checks will be provided

Requirements

Medical Check
National Police Certificate
Working with Children Check

Must have had recent (last 5 years) experience as a patient or consumer/carer of the Armadale Kalamunda Health Care Services. Must be an active member in the local community with strong community networks and an understanding of local issues. National Police Certificate and Working with Children's Check are required. Covid Vaccination required.
