Are you someone who enjoys a good chat and would love to brighten someone’s day?
The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) connects volunteers with people who are socially isolated and would benefit from friendship and companionship. A simple visit and friendly conversation can make a world of difference.
We are currently seeking a female volunteer to visit in Mount Morgan. The recipient is an artist and lives in her studio. She loves gardening and is a wildlife carer. There are endless birds that come onto her patio for food and she loves the calls they make.
What’s involved? Visits can be as little as one hour per fortnight Days and times are flexible to suit both you and the resident No prior experience needed – just a warm heart and a listening ear
