Sailability Volunteer
Advertised by Albany & Regional Volunteer Service IncorporatedVolunteering with Sailability is a happy and rewarding experience, working with and supporting disabled and elderly participants. Volunteers are sought for on-water and off-water roles to allow participants to experience sailing. Various roles include skippers and crews on keel boats,helping participants on and off boats, managing/securing boats on the loading pontoon,administration, communication and coordination of participants and volunteers.
9.00am to 11.30am on a Thur during sailing season.
A volunteer orientation session is running on 29 Oct 2026 from 9.00am to 11.30am. It provides an overview of all roles and working with people with disability. Specialist training for some specific roles such as hoist operator and crew roles will be offered at other times.
