Volunteer Food Rescue Drivers

The Mount Gravatt Community Centre is looking for friendly, reliable Volunteer Drivers to support our food rescue program and community transport needs. If you enjoy being out on the road, meeting people and helping your local community, this role is a great fit.

Food rescue drivers pick up from local supermarkets and our community partners.

You'll be part of a supportive team that ensures good food is saved from landfill and redirected to people doing it tough.

Shifts are flexible and can be arranged to suit your availability. Shifts fall within the hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Whether you can help weekly or fortnightly, we'd love to hear from you.

You don't need special qualifications - just:

• A current driver's licence
• Confidence driving locally
• A friendly, respectful attitude
• Reliability and willingness to help

A Volunteer Blue Card is required, and we can help organise this for you at no cost,
