Are you someone who enjoys a good chat and would love to brighten someone’s day?
The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) connects volunteers with people who are socially isolated and would benefit from friendship and companionship. A simple visit and friendly conversation can make a world of difference.
We are currently seeking volunteers to visit residents in Residential Aged Care. As a volunteer, you’ll be supported by a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator and the onsite Lifestyle Team.
In particular we have a male resident who would love a visit just for a chat.
What’s involved? Visits can be as little as one hour per fortnight Days and times are flexible to suit both you and the resident No prior experience needed – just a warm heart and a listening ear
