Context of the Role
Ondru is looking for a talented and innovative Graphic Designers to join our design team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about creative design and social impact to contribute to art-based community projects. As a key member of the creative team, you will support the visual communication of our work and help shape the emotional and aesthetic direction of our projects. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
The position is responsible for:

Creative Design & Development: Lead the design and development of visual content for Ondru’s initiatives, including marketing materials, presentations, and online content. Ensure all design work aligns with Ondru’s mission, values, and branding.

Design Strategy & Implementation: Collaborate with internal teams to create visually compelling designs that support Ondru’s strategic objectives and artistic community projects.

Branding & Visual Identity: Maintain and evolve Ondru’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all digital and print materials. Create design templates, assets, and guidelines for internal and external use.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with community partners, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure design work.

Creative Expression & Innovation: Support the creative expression and emotional impact of Ondru’s projects through design.
Key Selection Criteria

Passionate about people and a commitment to the purpose and values of Ondru;

Demonstrated a sound graphic design portfolio;

Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds;

Excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills;

Able to use initiative and “make things happen” (i.e. ‘hands on’ approach);

Possess high levels of personal and professional integrity and confidentiality; and

Excellent computer literacy skills and must have your own laptop.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
To be successful in this position it is preferred that you have:
- Tertiary qualification (or studying towards one) in relevant field;
- Are open-minded – with a willingness to challenge your own thinking and have the ability to adapt and be flexible to the changing needs of the organisation;
- Be committed to working in a team environment while promoting inclusivity and collaboration; and
- Be hardworking, hands on, energetic and vibrant.
Please note that we are seeking passionate and committed individuals who are willing to be present, put in the work, and collaborate closely to create meaningful change. This role involves active participation, shared responsibility, and a genuine commitment to working alongside communities and the broader Ondru team. A three month probationary period will apply to ensure mutual alignment and support.
