Friendly Visitor for elderly lady in Frankston - MS Plus ACVVS

Multiple Sclerosis is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program – the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS).
Volunteer visitors share stories, go for a stroll or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. Our volunteers play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship. We have a lovely, chatty lady in Frankston who would benefit from your friendship. She would love to have a coffee together at home, and although restricted a little with mobility, would occasionally like to go for a "walk" or to the local café and have a chat.

You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to weekly or fortnightly visits for a minimum of 6 months/ongoing.

Good English communication skills are required for this recipient, however volunteers with other languages willing to be matched to same language are very welcome to enquire.

MS believes in a person to person approach and aspire to match you with someone local with shared interests and hobbies.
