If you have a special skill set that would benefit our organisation, we’d love to have you on our team. Members of Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney’s (LLH2HS’s) Community Crew can volunteer with Australia’s leading crisis-support and suicide-prevention organisation to help build resilience and increase safety in our community.
As you read below about what is involved in being part of the Community Crew, please keep in mind that we can tailor your volunteering to suit your talents, availability and passions.
The Role Your role could include, but not be limited to, the following:
*Attend scheduled events and initiatives as a LLH2HS representative
*Generate public awareness of LLH2HS what we do and how we support the community
*Be an engaging and interactive representative of our brand who builds relationships with the public and our partners
*Partner with other organisations as a LLH2HS representative to co-deliver community events and initiatives
*Be able to speak about our organisation to community and corporate groups (formal and informal options)
*Collect donations as required and according to cash-collection procedures
*Undertake training and induction activities as scheduled
*Receive and attend opportunities for Crew team updates and collaboration
*Assist with other associated administration tasks as required eg incident reports and key metrics
*Advise the Community Engagement Coordinator of any problem or issue identified for a member of the community
*Ensure consumer confidentiality and privacy at all times
