Hobart Meals on Wheels Volunteer Opportunities

Meals on Wheels has been supporting communities for 70 years. We are a not‑for‑profit organisation that relies on the dedication of our volunteers to deliver nutritious meals, offer social connection, and provide a general wellbeing check for some of the community’s most vulnerable people.

Meals on Wheels assists older adults, people living with disability, and others who may need support to maintain their independence. Our services help individuals continue living safely and comfortably in their own homes and communities for as long as possible. Without this support, many people may need to transition into residential aged care or assisted living.

We are currently seeking volunteers to help deliver meals and conduct wellbeing checks from our Hobart office, including deliveries to the surrounding areas within Hobart.
