As a Games and Puzzle Volunteer, you will provide companionship and meaningful engagement for older people in care at Caulfield Residential Care Home. Spend time sitting alongside one another enjoying the challenge of completing a puzzle together, or perhaps playing simple card games, dominos or scrabble, depending on the ability of the residents we also have an indoor golf set on site.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) is an Australian Government funded initiative established to promote links between elderly people and their local community. HammondCare is an approved provider of ACVVS.
