As the Volunteer and Fundraising/Marketing Officer, you would be responsible to lead and manage SKER fundraising and marketing activities in collaboration with the Operations Manager and the Event Coordinator.

What this role would look like in terms of your responsiblities and duties:

Fundraising:

• Develop, recommend and manage the annual Fundraising Plan in line with SKER’s strategic plan and budget and in consultation with the Operations Manager.
• Lead and manage the development of SKER's fundraising streams including specific appeals, bequests and major giving, corporate partnerships and workplace giving, Individual and regular giving, community fundraising
• Sponsor and donor engagement, acquisition and retention
• Liaise with the SKER Event Coordinator in relation to potential fundraising opportunities at planned events

Marketing:

• Develop and manage the annual Marketing Plan in line with SKER’s strategic plan and in consultation with the Operations Manager
• Lead and manage the development of SKER's marketing to deliver brand awareness including media and advertising strategies, event marketing (in consultation with the SKER Event Coordinator) and digital marketing
• Assist with integrating fundraising and marketing systems with the SKER financial reporting system
• Oversee the production and distribution of marketing and communication collateral
• Plan, implement, execute and evaluate digital campaigns
