Watercolours artist

-
There is one class for beginners followed by one for experienced watercolourists
-
Each class is 90 minutes long
-
Ideally the same teacher would conduct both classes but we are also open to having different tutors
-
Beginners are shown basic watercolour techniques at the beginning of each term.
-
Students usually complete a painting on a specific subject matter on an A4 piece of paper during each 90-minute class
-
Ideally each lesson should cover a different subject e.g. landscape, scenes of fields, mountains, a river, a beach, flowers, birds, boats, houses etc.
-
Students learn from seeing each others' efforts
-
In the experienced group the tutor demonstrates components, rather than the entire process
-
Morning tea is provided between the two classes
-
There are up to 12 students in the beginners' class and usually about 9 students in the experienced class
-
Classes are held at the Aspley Uniting Church, 748 Robinson Rd., Aspley
-
Term 3 begins on 24th July, 2026
-
There are four terms of seven weeks each during the year
