Wesley Mission Queensland’s Elorac Place Community Centre is looking for volunteer Kids Club Activity Assistants to help set up the Kids Club program and facilitate activities to make it a fun and safe space for those attending the centre.

Our weekly Kids Club Program is aimed at children aged 5 to 12, accompanied by their parent or guardian. It offers a range of activities and games each Wednesday between 2.00pm to 4.00pm.

With supervision and support from paid staff, the volunteer Kids Club Activity Assistant will assist with tasks such as:

• Setting up and packing up the program space
• Assisting with the set up of activities
• Assisting with the facilitation of activities
• Preparing snacks for the program participants.

Due to the nature of the role, qualifications, experience, or an interest in Early Years education is ideal but not essential. A mature, friendly demeanour with an ability to assist where necessary is just as important!
