Volunteering with HammondCare At Home is one way you can give something back to the aged or frail in our society. Not only does volunteering have an impact on the person you spend time with, but you'll learn a lot and meet new people.

Our Elderly client in Revesby would like to meet a Social Volunteer that speaks and writes in Lebanese Arabic to visit her at home, our client enjoys cooking, spending time with family and watching the bird in her garden. You'll help to improve her quality of life and help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the clients you are matched with.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is an Australian Government initiative established to promote links between elderly people and their local community.
