Are you fluent in Polish and able to provide friendship and companionship to a resident at our aged care home in Kelmscott?

MercyCare is seeking a Female Volunteer Social Companion who is fluent in Polish to join our Kelmscott Residential aged care home.

The role requires the volunteer to be a good communicator, develop rapport quickly, enjoy conversations and being around older people. You must have experience working with people living with dementia and understand the difficulties that they face. The purpose of the role is to enhance the quality of life for our residents to reduce loneliness and isolation. It is an important role to maintain a residents good mental health to reduce stress and slowing cognitive decline.
