The Haven (WIS) Gawler Community House is open 10.00am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday and is a free and confidential service that provides information and referrals to local women who may need assistance with domestic and family violence, family and relationships, education and training, health and wellbeing, housing and accommodation options, financial matters, or any situation they may need support and assistance in dealing with.
Volunteers service The Haven at the above times along with the WIS Site Supervisor.
Skills required:
Basic computer skills along with high level negotiation and communication skills both written and verbal. All volunteers must be willing to learn and undertake the WIS volunteer training program and mentor shifts.
