The Emerald Hill Library is seeking volunteers to assist local High School students with their homework tasks. High school students particularly need assistance with Maths, Science, English and various projects. We invite applications from volunteers who are willing to give their time and energy to this important and rewarding work. Volunteers will need to:

• Be confident in helping High School aged students with their homework, especially with Maths, Science, English and Projects.
• Work mostly with the same child each week, to develop an effective tutoring and mentoring relationship.
• Be available one day per week in the afternoon, during school terms
• Obtain Police and Working With Children Checks (free for volunteers and the Library will assist with obtaining these)
• Formal qualifications are beneficial but are not essential
• Volunteer insurance cover is provided
