Front of House Volunteer

Key Tasks are:

• Ensure the gallery is presentable and ready to receive visitors
• Greet visitors, welcome them into the gallery and engage with them
• Check tickets and check bags into the cloakroom
• Assist on tours supporting the Guide
• Take payment for tickets and merchandise
• Maintain a high level of customer service

Essential:

• Friendly and approachable with the ability to interact positively with people
• Good communication skills
• Well-presented and comfortable shoes as you will be mostly on your feet
• Reliable and flexible
• Good time-keeper
• Comfortable working as part of a team
• Undergo Police Check (if current one not held)

Desirable but not essential:

• Previous experience in a similar or related role
• An interest in antiques and fine art
