We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to offer support and companionship to our male residents by facilitating group discussions, sharing your skills/hobbies, and/or helping to deliver group activities that align with our residents' interests.

This role involves:

• assisting to set-up activities
• encouraging residents to attend
• supporting residents who need assistance to participate
• sharing your skills with others
• helping to pack up resources
• engaging socially with residents in small groups or in 1-1 conversation.

Through regular ongoing visits, you will establish new friendships with residents, as well as the staff and volunteer team. You will be guided in your role by the site's Therapy team, and Bethanie's Volunteer Services Team also provide ongoing support.
