What You'll Be Doing

We are seeking friendly and caring volunteers who enjoy socialising with others and who would be happy to support our residents. This volunteer role would see you engage our residents in conversations whilst helping to maintain our lovely gardens through tasks such as:

• maintaining garden beds
• pruning, weeding, raking and watering
• general garden tidying
• implementing small projects based on resident interests. On occasions where no residents elect to engage in gardening activities, volunteers may undertake these gardening tasks solo.

Why This Matters

Many of our residents have been avid gardeners in their time and would love nothing better than to potter around in our lovely gardens with some companionship. The Best Bit? This volunteer role would see you engage our residents in conversations whilst helping to maintain our lovely gardens. You will be guided in your role by the site's Therapy Team with ongoing support from our Volunteer Services Team.

About You

Volunteer gardeners are required to be physically fit and must enjoy working outdoors.
