Drive older people or people in need, to appointments, or social activities, from and to around the Hills and Metropolitan areas. Council vehicles, training and uniform provided with full support. Make an amazing difference in someone's life.

** Requirements: ** Induction process required including Police check, DHS screening, medical clearance and driving assessment.
All costs and support given with this training. Current Drivers licence required.

Commitment

Regular - more than 6 months

Time required

Monday to Fridays anywhere between 7.30am-6.30pm, max 8 hr shifts. Volunteers can choose regular or adhoc shifts on their preferred day.

Reimbursement

For pre-approved expenses, meal allowance, and fuel to and from your house to collect vehicle.

*Please note: * As each organisation provides different levels/types of insurance, volunteers are reminded to check with the organisation as to the type of insurance provided for volunteers (e.g. Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance). * Best practice volunteer involvement recommends that a volunteer role should not be more than 15-16 hours per week.
