We're searching for someone to volunteer their time and skills to provide arts program support to the Arts on Prescription team at Braeside Hospital.

As a HammondCare arts volunteer, your tasks may include

• Encouraging participant engagement in art activities
• Providing connection and conversation for participants
• Moving between group and 1:1 sessions with the artist
• Assisting artist with preparation and pack down of materials
• Some liaising between hospital staff and artists (e.g. requesting research referral forms from nurses while artist works with a patient)

The sessions will be held on Monday, and you may choose to volunteer

• Full day (9am-4pm) or

• 9am-12pm or

• 1pm-4pm

Successful applicants aged over 18 years old will be required to complete a national police check which HammondCare will organise and pay for. You will be required to meet our immunisation requirements, including HepB, Covid19, flu vaccinations and a blood serology test.
