St John Ambulance QLD is looking for a Vietnamese speaking volunteer, for our Community Visitor Program where volunteers visit an elderly resident for an hour, once a fortnight in Greenbank. As a Community Visitor Volunteer, your visits may include a conversation, listening to music and doing an activity together.

Many residents in aged care facilities have little contact with friends and relatives and some will feel isolated from their culture and language. You’re once a fortnight visit will help improve their wellbeing and can make a positive difference to their lives. Volunteers must be 18 years old and above and all volunteers will receive training, orientation, ongoing support from the ACVVS Coordinator.

A requirement of this role is that you complete a Police Check at no expense to you.
