No special qualifications required apart from a keen desire to help Sydney Heritage Fleet keep this unique vessel afloat, financially and literally. Your aim is to promote the ship and its activities, working with a group of friendly colleagues. We try to have 3 or 4 guides present on each day.

There are plenty of resources for new guides to learn about the ship; introductory booklets, a comprehensive book on the history and background, a DVD video of he ship's restoration and picture books to help when talking to visitors. No prior knowledge is required.
