- Support residents to participate in group and individual activities.
- Encourage social interaction, engagement and enjoyment in a welcoming environment.

The Difference You'll Make
You'll help residents stay socially connected and continue participating in activities they love. Your time and enthusiasm can give them something to look forward to.
Sometimes, it's the simplest things—a shared laugh, a favourite song or a friendly game—that make the biggest difference.

- An interest in spending time with older people.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, reliability and a willingness to help.
- An interest or hobby you'd enjoy sharing with residents.
- A respectful approach that recognises each resident's dignity, choices and abilities.
- Willingness to complete RFBI's volunteer screening, induction and required training processes.
You don't need previous aged care experience. Your enthusiasm, kindness and willingness to share your time are what matter most.
