Retail Assistant at the Friends of the Pound Pre-Loved opportunity shop. The duties will be under the direction of the Team Leader Pre-Loved and will involve sorting donated garments and accessories, washing and ironing items for sale, display items as directed.
Retail experience would be an asset but not necessary. Friends of the Pound (Tweed) Inc. are an animal rescue organization and rely on the sale of pre-loved items to support the feeding and vet work of the animals in our care. People volunteering in our organization receive training in retail, discount on Royal Canin animal food, friendship. The impact of working with Friends of the Pound will give the the applicant a better understanding of other aspects of animal welfare.
