You will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our weekly Friday canteen service. Your assistance will contribute to providing students and staff with nutritious meals and snacks in a welcoming environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Food Preparation: Assist in preparing food items according to established recipes and portion sizes. This may include assembling sandwiches, salads and snacks.
  2. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the canteen area clean and organised throughout the day. This includes wiping down surfaces, washing dishes, and ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  3. Assisting with Special Events: Support the canteen staff during special events or activities held at the school, such as fundraisers or themed lunch days.
  4. Adhering to Health and Safety Regulations: Follow all health and safety protocols, including food handling guidelines and sanitation procedures, to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff.
  5. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other volunteers and canteen staff to ensure efficient operation and excellent service.
