Spend time with an elderly lady living in a residential aged care home in Lane Cove. She enjoys Music, arts and crafts, gardening and getting out for a coffee. You'll help provide companionship as well as maintain their healthy wellbeing as part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme is funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
