The Moorabbin Area Toy Library is a not-for-profit organisation which has been supporting local families with the tools for play for over 30 years. We are run by a dedicated and passionate volunteer committee and member volunteers. To continue to provide our excellent service, we are looking for volunteers to support our open sessions on Wednesday evenings. The benefits include becoming an active part of the local community and the potential to learn new skills.

The role would include:

• working with other volunteers in a friendly environment
• returning and loaning toys using our software
• checking returned toys and counting pieces
• assisting the Coordinator with general tasks such as cataloging & labelling toys, minor cleaning & tidying, laminating, contacting boxes
• re-shelving toys

The ideal applicant should have:

• strong attention to detail
• ability to operate a computer and Ipad
• welcoming and friendly manner
• enjoy interacting with families and children
• ability to read and write in English
• able to commit to at least 4 months volunteering

We will provide training and you will always have a supervisor on hand for support if you need it.
