Gallery Volunteer

The Exmouth Cultural Arts Centre is on the lookout for dedicated volunteers to contribute to the vibrant arts scene in Exmouth, WA. As the heart of the local arts culture, the Centre is a welcoming space that embraces all art forms and skill levels. It offers a diverse range of workshops and provides a creative hub for its members, while also hosting a variety of community events. Volunteers will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced long-term volunteers, the Gallery Coordinator, or Committee Members. Their responsibilities will include:

• Setting up eye-catching signage to enhance the gallery's atmosphere
• Ensuring that the artwork is beautifully presented and displayed
• Straightening and adjusting artwork to maintain an appealing visual aesthetic
• Verifying the accuracy of item labels
• Welcoming and assisting visitors as they explore the gallery
• Addressing inquiries and directing them to the appropriate contact person
• Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the gallery and its facilities
• Tracking the number of visitors to the gallery
• Safely wrapping artwork for transportation after a sale
