Staff and students at Tuart Hill Primary School are committed to maintaining the positive heritage that has been developed over so many years and by so many. We want all students to leave Tuart Hill well prepared for their future, equipped to prosper economically, to be happy and secure in themselves, and ready to contribute to their community. Tuart Hill Primary School encourages the link between the school and the community and looks forward to working with volunteers across the many and varied programs we have throughout the school.

We are searching for fun, happy and young at heart Reading Buddies who have a kind understanding nature and good listening ears for supported reading. Reading Buddies sessions will be held in our school library. Students will be reading books or have books read to them using books from the school library. Welcomed into a fully supported, friendly, warm, environment. Flexible hours (during school hours) to suit your needs, access to tea and coffee facilities. Our Reading Buddies will be able to meet new people and form friendships with other Reading Buddies. Reading Buddies will have the opportunity to watch students flourish and progress with their reading and literacy skills, while building on skills of their own. We are happy to provide support and training if needed.
