Looking for a meaningful way to make a difference and support your community? Spare Parts Puppet Theatre shares the joy and magic of puppetry with audiences of all ages. And they couldn't do it without the help of amazing volunteers!

  Spare Parts is on the hunt for volunteers for their upcoming theatre season of Hare Brain at the Claremont Showgrounds from 24th of June - 13th of July.  

About the Show! Hare Brain tackles the age-old dilemma – does fast and furious or slow and steady win the race? Hare Brain will challenge young minds and tickle their funny bones while inviting them to consider: is fast and frenetic the secret to success, or can ‘tortoise’ thinking lead to a better outcome. Obsession and addiction to technology are pitted against imagination and creativity in this engaging comedic production.

No prior experience is necessary – Spare Parts will provide you with training. All you need is a friendly attitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to work as part of a team. You'll need to have a working with children's check, as the safety of their young audience members is Spare Parts’ top priority. Don't worry if you don't have one already - they can help you through the process.

  In addition to the satisfaction of helping others and supporting the Arts, volunteering as an usher at Spare Parts means you watch unique and exciting puppetry performances for free. Plus, you'll have the chance to be a part of their vibrant volunteer community - a diverse group of students, parents, retirees, and everyone in between.
