About you:

• Basic skills in active listening and empathic response.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Be 18+ years of age and preferably possess a current Drivers Licence and have access to a vehicle.
• Provide proof of vaccination status when required.
• Able to commit for at least 6 months.
• Available to perform given tasks between 9am and 3pm Monday to Friday.
• Available at least a couple of hours a week or fortnight.

Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury Sydney provides social support for people over 65 years or older. The volunteers form a part of the Community Services team and provide a variety of services for older clients, including transport to appointments, companionship visits or accompanied shopping. We provide services from Chatswood to Berowra so prefer our volunteers to live on the Lower to Upper North Shore of Sydney.
