Warehouse Assistant - WERN

Organisation description:

The Western Emergency Relief Network (WERN) provides support to individuals and families experiencing challenges such as family violence, house fires, homelessness, and resettlement as refugees or newly arrived migrants. The organisation offers access to a safe, productive, and welcoming workspace, fostering opportunities to build connections and contribute positively to the community. Assistance includes furniture, white goods, small electrical appliances, bedding, crockery, and linen. As a registered charity, WERN facilitates donations and redistributes resources to support those in need.

Job description:

• Assist with the sorting of donated goods
• Keep Warehouse clean and organised
• May be responsible for cleaning, properly storing goods
• Order picking, involves selecting items from storage for customers
• Folding of all linen
• Talking to clients

Time required: WERN is open Tuesday through to Thursday 9.30am until 3.00pm
