Are you passionate about empowering women from refugee and migrant backgrounds and making a positive impact in their lives?
We at Edmund Rice Centre WA are seeking passionate and dedicated volunteers to join our team as Women's Program Assistants. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the planning and execution of women's programs and events. The participants who attend are from CaLD backgrounds.
This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute your skills and time to meaningful work while gaining valuable experience. We are seeking volunteers for the Women Together program on Mondays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, for the Women on Wednesday (WoW) program which takes place on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Sewing Program on Mondays from 12pm-2pm, . You can choose which day you'd like to volunteer.
Responsibilities: · Assist the Program Coordinator in planning and running sessions. · Provide support/guidance during women group excursions. · Assist with activities. · Hand out and collect enrolment forms. · Foster a positive and supportive environment. · Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for empowering other women.
