Morehead Meals Picker, Packer & Delivery Driver

Morehead Meals is a service provided by Althea projects. It is the beginning of a multi-level social enterprise connecting our community though affordable healthy and delicious pre-made fresh frozen meals. By purchasing meals from us you are directly contributing to a healthier, resilient, and more connected Townsville. Money from each meal purchased is reinvested back into Morehead Meals to assist grow the enterprise to provide opportunities for the homeless and long term unemployed in our community.

Tasks

• Assist with picking and packing of Morehead Meals frozen foods that have been ordered

• Delivery of Morehead Meals frozen foods to customers.

• Working with the Centre Coordinator or their delegate to ensure the most efficient delivery route

• Ensure the food is stored as directed by the Centre Coordinator or their delegate so frozen foods remain in the condition required from a food safety handling perspective

• If money needs to be collected, using the allocated EFTPOS SQUARE as per direction from the Centre Coordinator or their delegate

• Take full responsibility of the deliveries utilising an Althea Projects vehicle on the scheduled days.
