Sydney Marathon Drink Station Supporter

Up to 80 volunteers required to provide drinks to thirsty runners in the Sydney Marathon Festival on Sunday 30 August 2026.
Your public transport to and from the event will be free and you'll receive an official volunteer t-shirt, and ASICS cap, snacks, water and a Certificate of Appreciation.
You'll be stationed at Centennial Park, near Loch Ave x Grand Dr from 5:45am - 3pm where you’ll get to cheer on some of the best runners in the world racing in Australia’s biggest marathon, which is an Abbott World Marathon Major (which will put it in the same league as Tokyo, Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago and New York City Marathons!)
About Running for Premature Babies Running for Premature Babies is a charity that gives sick and premature babies a better chance of survival. We fundraise and provide urgently needed neonatal equipment to hospitals in need Australia wide. The charity was founded by Sophie Smith OAM, after losing all three of her prematurely born triplets in 2006, and has grown to directly benefit thousands of sick and premature babies.
Our vehicle for fundraising is running. We inspire people to take on running challenges, either in mass participation running events around Australia or by joining our virtual Premmie Marathon Challenge each November.
We are really proud of the work we do and the positive impact it has on so many premature babies and their families. With your support, Running for Premature Babies will give more families the joy of taking home a healthy baby who is ready to thrive.
