Time Commitment: Urgently seeking a volunteer for Thursday afternoon shift 1pm to 4.30pm

Position Duties: *Customer service - serve customers and answer the telephone in a friendly and helpful manner. * Cash handling - Accurately account for and record any sales and takings for the day * Sorting, stocking shelves and pricing goods as required. Unpack and store goods in appropriate places. Some light lifting may be required. *Assisting with maintaining a clean, tidy and safe environment at all times. For example, vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, cleaning bathroom etc. *Assisting with creating displays for special events, contributing to ideas for sale events and fund raising * Assisting with efficient day to day running of the shop * Supporting other workers with tasks as required * Being able to work under supervision, including receiving guidance and instructions from the supervisor on duty.
