Teaching in the cafe • Use knowledge, skills and experience of cooking to upskill and empower young people through practical learning application. • Provide demonstration, coaching and guidance in the café • Assist students with their theory work when required. • Develop and inspire confidence, skills, knowledge and motivation in students • Develop positive relationships • Model respectful communication, patience, and clear boundaries. • Demonstrate empathy, consistency, reliability and promote safe and stable relationships. • Build rapport and develop a supportive relationship with students. • Maintain strong boundaries and communicate with students in a respectful and culturally appropriate manner. • Abide by all food safety regulations • Promote a culture of good hygiene and safe practices in the cafe. • Appropriately and accurately answer any questions relating to food safety guidelines.
