Knitting/Crochet Companion

Do you love knitting and/or crochet? Are you friendly and enjoy helping older adults to have fun, socialise and connect?
We'd love to have you join our team at our residential aged care home in Wembley to assist with our knitting/crochet activity! This activity runs every Friday afternoon at 1:30pm.
As a Knitting/Crochet volunteer, you will:
- Sit, knit/crochet and chat with residents who have a passion for knitting or crochet
- Spend quality time and build meaningful relationships with residents.
- Enhance the quality of life for our residents by helping reduce loneliness and isolation.
- Become a valuable member of our team with ongoing support throughout your volunteer journey.
