Committee Member
Do you have a genuine interest in getting involved in a grass-roots community organisation? Consider getting involved in a committee role at your local Neighbourhood House in Box Hill.
Our committee is responsible for the governance and strategic direction our growing Neighbourhood House.
It is expected that committee members have a strong connection to the local area and a desire to improve community outcomes. You may be required to represent Clota Cottage at community events and meetings from time to time.
Committee members are expected to develop a sound understanding of NFP governance and best practice, as well as issues specific to the Neighbourhood House sector. This may be gained through engaging with sector reports and attending workshops/training that align with each committee member's allocated role/responsibility.
The committee welcomes applications from people across a diverse cross-section of lived experience, professional skills and qualifications such as:
