Help Deliver Meals with Nonna’s Cucina

About the Role Nonna’s Cucina is made possible by more than 100 dedicated volunteers who generously give their time, skills and care to help prepare and deliver meals to over 400 clients every weekday.

We are always looking for new volunteers to join the Nonna’s Cucina family, particularly Volunteer Drivers and Driver Assistants who can help us deliver meals and provide a friendly connection to our clients.

Volunteer Drivers Volunteer Drivers use their own vehicle to deliver meals to clients Monday to Friday, between 11:00am and 1:30pm.

A volunteer vehicle allowance is provided to assist with the use of your own vehicle. Volunteer Drivers must hold a current driver’s licence and comprehensive vehicle insurance.

Volunteer Driver Assistants Driver Assistants accompany our volunteer drivers, helping with navigation, carrying and delivering meals, and connecting with clients along the way. No vehicle is required for this role.

You don’t need to make a large commitment to volunteer with us. We can be flexible around your availability, and even a few hours once a week or fortnightly can make a wonderful difference.

At Nonna’s Cucina, we provide more than just a meal. Our volunteers play an important role in helping clients feel connected, supported and cared for.
