Helping Hand Lealholme is currently seeking multiple enthusiastic Lifestyle Assistant Volunteers to help with the lifestyle program that supports residents to enhance their quality of life.

Depending on your interests we can shape a volunteer role to suit you.

There are many ways to volunteer and bring joy to our residents *Join for a regular walk outside. *Share your gardening knowledge and skills in our gardens. *Run cooking sessions to share your passion in the kitchen. *Perform or teach music, be it singing or instruments. *Come for a chat. *Bring your friendly pet for a visit. *Assist in the men’s shed. *Share your art and craft skills.

Personal attributes *Comfortable interacting, motivating, and encouraging residents. *Great listening and conversation skills. *Punctual and reliable. *Have a friendly and positive attitude. *You enjoy working with the elderly, frail and cognitive impaired.
